Police log
A man was arrested for a DUI, theft of transportation and leaving the scene of an accident on Saturday after he turned into oncoming traffic at two thousand two hundred thirty one E. Route 66.
He attempted to run away after the crash and was arrested after police noticed that the man had utterly slurred speech and balance.
He refused a breathalyzer test and blood was drawn via a judge’s warrant.
The man was charged with auto theft after his grandfather called police stating that he did not permit the man to drive his car.
The man was identified at Devon Laban.
— Marcala Whitehair was arrested for an aggravated DUI with a suspended license on Saturday at the intersection of Aspen Avenue and Sitgreaves Street. Blood was drawn via a judge’s warrant after she refused a breathalyzer test.
— Jessie Singer was arrested for an aggravated DUI with a person under fifteen and leaving the scene of an accident on Friday after she was involved in a hit and run incident on Cherry Avenue and Park Street.
Police found her car on Beaver Street and Oak Avenue where they found Singer and two petite children in car seats, sobbing in the backseat.
Singer repeatedly told police that she was not involved in a car accident despite significant harm to the front of her car.
Police found an empty bottle of malt liquor in the vehicle.
Singer refused a breathalyzer test and blood was drawn via a judge’s warrant.
Bike theft
A man reported his bicycle stolen on Saturday in the one hundred twenty block of South Milton Road. The bike and the bike lock were both gone when the man went to get his bike the next day.
Aggravated onslaught
A woman was arrested for aggravated onslaught of a police officer and disorderly conduct on Friday. The woman got into an argument with her mother after the woman and her beau arrived intoxicated.
The woman, who was a passenger, refused to step out of the car and talk to police. When police attempted to escort her out of the car she smacked an officer on the forearm. The officer gave her a warning.
After the woman was put into handcuffs she kicked an officer in the belly.
When the woman arrived at Coconino County Detention Facility she pulled the jail’s fire alarm after she got out of a pair of loose-handcuffs.
The woman was identified as Desbah Clah.
Criminal harm
Graffiti was reported at Mountain View Church on two thousand one hundred fifty E Linda Vista Dr. on Monday. The logo “3TW” was unload painted on the signs around the church. Stickers with the same logo were stamped on the front door.
Police did not identify any suspects.
Drug offenses
A woman was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia on Monday after she attempted to inject Flagstaff Shelter Services at four thousand one hundred eighty five E. Huntington Dr. with a meth pipe.
The pipe was discovered in the woman’s sock as she attempted to inject the shelter.
The woman told police that the pipe was hers.
