South Korean car manufacturer, Hyundai Motor Company will launch the much awaited two thousand seventeen Hyundai Verna in India on 22nd August 2017. Ahead of its scheduled launch, the two thousand seventeen Verna has been spied at a dealership stockyard exposing the Polor White and Sleek Silver colour options. Earlier this week, the official brochure details of the fresh Verna two thousand seventeen were leaked, which exposed the features, specifications, variants and other details about the car. That said, bookings for the fresh Verna are presently open and Hyundai dealerships across the country are accepting bookings at an amount of INR 25,000. The fresh Hyundai Verna two thousand seventeen facelift is based on the company’s ‘Fluidic Sculpture Two.0′ design philosophy. The fresh car gets the chrome-lined cascading grille, projector headlamps with LED daytime running lights, round fog lamps and fresh front bumper. On the sides, the car gets a more coupe like design along with fresh 16-inch alloy wheels while the rear gets split LED taillights, boot integrated spoiler and revised rear bumper design. Dimensionally, the two thousand seventeen Hyundai Verna measures at Four,385 mm in length, 1,729 mm in width and 1,450 mm in height while the car gets a wheelbase of Two,580 mm. The fresh car is fifteen mm longer and twenty nine mm broader while the wheelbase is ten mm longer as compared to the previous generation model. The car has a boot space capacity of three hundred eighty seven litres, which is lesser than the recently launched Tata Tigor. In India, the fresh Hyundai Verna will be available with two engine options – 1.6-litre petrol and 1.6-litre diesel engine. The 1.6-litre VTVT Gamma petrol engine produces one hundred twenty one BHP of maximum power and one hundred fifty five Nm of peak torque. On the other arm, the 1.6-litre U2 CRDi diesel engine produces one hundred twenty six BHP of maximum power and two hundred fifty nine Nm of peak torque. Transmission duties are taken care by a 6-speed manual gearbox along with an optional 6-speed automatic transmission.
