Bicycle Accident Fatally Injures Man

At approximately 6:30 am, the man on his bicycle was struck from the rear by a car. An oncoming pick-up truck was incapable to avoid the man and crashed into him.

Officers indicated that the bicyclist took every safety precaution possible for traveling on his bicycleВ this day. The bicyclist was wearing a helmet and equippedВ his bicycle with flashing crimson lights at the time of the collision. The safety precautions this bicyclist took did not stop the negligent motoristВ of the very first vehicle from crashing into this guiltless victim. Sadly, the bicycle accident victim suffered fatal injuries and passed away a brief time later after the crash.
