Fresh law proposed after a buzzed driver crashes a school bus.
On behalf of Reeder & Nussbaum posted in Florida.
A fresh law is being proposed after a inebriated driver crashed a school bus into a home. The school bus driver allegedly got tipsy before picking up a group of children after school. The children were not earnestly injured but the driver was charged with five counts of aggravated driving while intoxicated.
Now parents in Fresh York are calling for better protection for their children. Presently, no states require the use of ignition interlock devices on school buses. But after this accident some people are suggesting Fresh York become the very first state to mandate that all fresh buses come tooled with these devices. Last week a local mother and two elected officials, announced they are proposing fresh legislation to make buses safer for children. This will make it mandatory for all fresh buses to come tooled with such devices. Any buses that are made before July 1, two thousand twelve would need the device installed to obey with the proposed law in Fresh York. Supporters are telling no one should be permitted behind the wheel and drive buzzed with a bus total of children. Any drinking and driving is dangerous. But when you are responsible for transporting groups of children, the end result of a inebriated driving accident could be devastating.

It wasn’t until Bay News nine put on a description of the clothing then the Munson’s knew it was their child injured.

Fewer People Killed on Florida’s Roads in 2010
The numbers still aren’t good, but the number of traffic fatalities in Florida hit a three-decade low in 2010, according to a fresh report from the Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles.
In 2010, Two,430 people died in traffic crashes in our state. That’s the lowest number since 1978, even however Florida’s population has doubled, department officials said. Law enforcement officers say more people are using seatbelts, and that is helping to save lives.
Unluckily, one of the deadliest roads in Florida is right in our backyard. About twenty people each year die on U.S. Highway nineteen in Pinellas County, an analysis by The Tampa Tribune found. Some parts of the highway carry 80,000 vehicles a day. Drivers often have to use middle turn lanes, and pedestrians have trouble making it across the busy road in the amount of time allotted by the traffic lights.
Motor vehicle crashes are the leading cause of death for people inbetween the ages of five and 34, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
